Scotland stands at the precipice of an existential crisis.
Decades of devolution have delivered not empowerment, but entrapment, a gilded cage where the illusion of self-governance masks continued subjugation to Westminster’s priorities, endless austerity, failing services, and a nation robbed of its sovereign potential. Hospitals crumble, our young people flee for opportunity elsewhere, drug deaths scar communities, and economic potential in our waters, lands, and people lies untapped.
Enough is enough.
While every other party, from the SNP to Labour, Tories, and Greens clings desperately to this broken devolution settlement, the Alliance to Liberate Scotland stands alone in demanding complete systemic change: full independence, nothing less, nothing else.
Devolution was never a destination; it was a trap designed to pacify Scotland’s ancient thirst for freedom while preserving the status quo. The establishment parties are content to tinker at the edges, perpetuating decline. We reject it outright.
Without radical liberation, Scotland’s decline will accelerate into oblivion.
The people of Scotland deserve better than managed decline. We demand control over our own economy, resources, borders, and future. No more half-measures. No more excuses.
The time for bold, uncompromising action is now.
As the legendary Jimmy Reid declared in his immortal address: “A rat race is for rats. We’re not rats. We’re human beings.” He warned against alienation and the centralisation of power that strips people of dignity and agency.
Today, devolution has become that very system of alienation, a bureaucratic machine that distances decision-making from communities while feigning local control. Reid also understood: “Government by the people for the people becomes meaningless unless it includes major economic decision-making by the people for the people.” Scotland’s economy remains dictated from afar.
Only full sovereignty restores that power.
We echo the immortal fire of Robert Burns in Scots Wha Hae:
“Scots, wha hae wi’ Wallace bled,
Scots, wham Bruce has aften led;
Welcome to your gory bed,
Or to victory!”
Scotland’s heroes did not bleed for devolution’s polite negotiations, they fought for liberty.
Today’s battle is at the ballot box.
The establishment knows the threat we pose.
That is why the state is actively battling the Alliance by denying us fair media time and platforms in debates. They silence our voice to perpetuate the devolution myth and protect their comfortable consensus.
This exclusion is not neutrality, it is censorship by omission, designed to keep voters trapped in the same failing system. But the people see through it.
In an age of information, no gatekeeper can hide the truth forever.
To the electorate of Scotland: This is your moment.
Vote for the Alliance to Liberate Scotland on the regional list, your most powerful weapon for real change.
Reject the parties of the status quo who offer only more of the same slow death.
Choose the one party that puts independence first, last, and always. Vote for sovereignty, dignity, and a Scotland that controls its own destiny.
The rat race ends here.
