National Parties and Televised Broadcasters Running Scared. Alliance to Liberate Scotland Silenced as Democracy Dies in the Dark Scotland.
In a blatant act of political cowardice and establishment stitch-up, Scotland’s so-called “national” parties and their lapdog broadcasters are desperately excluding genuine pro-independence voices from the televised debates ahead of the Holyrood election.
Prominent Alliance to Liberate Scotland candidate Eva Comrie, a fearless fighter for full independence, has been shamefully shut out, despite the Alliance standing more constituency candidates than the Scottish Greens. While the SNP, Labour, Tories, Lib Dems and even the Greens are handed precious airtime to peddle their half-measures and compromises, the one party demanding Independence, Nothing Less is being airbrushed from the national conversation. This is not neutrality. This is naked fear.
The Alliance to Liberate Scotland is not some fringe afterthought. We are fielding serious candidates across multiple constituencies and regional lists more direct challengers in key seats than the Greens, who still get their seat at the table. Eva Comrie, standing in Clackmannanshire and Dunblane and leading our Mid Scotland & Fife list, represents the raw, uncompromising demand of thousands of Scots who are sick of betrayal, delay, and devolutionist dead-ends. Yet the broadcasters, in lockstep with the terrified Westminster-aligned parties, have decided the public must not hear her voice.
This exclusion is an insult to Scottish democracy. It exposes the panic gripping the political establishment. They know that every minute Eva Comrie or our candidates spend on screen would expose the cosy consensus: managed decline under the Union, endless talk of referendums that never come, and a parliament that delivers devolved disappointment instead of national liberation.
Why are they so scared? Because the Alliance to Liberate Scotland stands for a clear, bold alternative: using every election as a plebiscite on independence, rejecting the slow death of gradualism, and fighting for a free, sovereign Scotland that controls its own destiny, resources, and future. No more excuses. No more betrayals. The national parties are running scared because they cannot defend their record of failure in open debate. The TV stations are running scared because they fear accusations from their paymasters if they allow real disruption to the scripted narrative. Together, they collude to protect a broken status quo.
We call on STV, BBC Scotland, and every broadcaster involved to immediately reverse this disgraceful decision. Invite Eva Comrie and Alliance representatives to the debates now or stand exposed as gatekeepers for a failing political cartel that has lost the confidence of the Scottish people. Scotland deserves better than censored airwaves and frightened politicians hiding behind production decisions.
The voters will not be silenced. On 7 May, they will deliver their verdict at the ballot box and the Alliance to Liberate Scotland will be there, fighting for every seat and every voice that demands true liberation.
Independence. Nothing Less.
